"Everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing himself." — Leo Tolstoy
It is so easy to blame others, including a Higher Power, for things that go wrong in our lives. Another driver cuts us off on the road. The elevator closes on us as we are rushing into the office. Our loved one gets sick. We get fired. But, when we point the finger at someone or something other than ourselves, we are bound to stay stuck and sick emotionally. We are powerless over people, places and things, but we are not powerless over ourselves. So if we train ourselves to look at our part in whatever is going on in our lives, there is a chance that something can change.
